About Laorna

Background

Nathan NelsonLaorna Ltd was established in June 2001 by Nathan Nelson, a project manager and web nerd with a passion for keeping things simple.

During this time, we’ve supported the development of digital comms and social media for various charities, voluntary and educational organisations and small businesses. Based in London, UK, we nevertheless support organisations internationally and work remotely or on site at our clients’ premises.

We provide environmental consultancy and training via Wild Influence.

What we love

Common sense. Not wasting money. Support. Face to face conversations. Slack. WordPress. Artefact cards. Cheese.

What does Laorna mean?

Laor-na is Khmer for ‘very good’. You pronounce it ‘La-or-na’.

Nathan has spent some time in Cambodia, where he taught English and designed a youth development program. We still support Khmer organisations through Laorna, and love Cambodia.
